On June 1, 2018, due to a problem with 3C Payment credit card servers, many of Colonial’s monthly parking customers experienced multiple holds on funds in their bank accounts for monthly parking that should have been charged only one time. While each charge will only be completed one time, many customers will have extra funds held for up to several business days.

3C has advised that once an authorization has been created, they are not able to release the funds, as that can only be accomplished by the account holder’s financial institution. So for those who need funds released sooner than the several business days it would normally take, they can request this of their bank.
